      in no particular order but brady, mahomes, herbert, allen, rodgers, murray, jackson, dak, burrow, and russ are all better. the man had megatron for the better part of a decade and did nothing

      Stafford is probably top 10 but top 5, no. Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, Allen and Burrow, Herbert are better than Stafford.

      He's top 5 in every category. He's first in comebacks. He's been phenomenal in the playoffs. The only thing he did wrong was playing for the Lions. He's top 5 to me.

      He’s been between 8-12 his entire career, which is where he should be.

      Both of these guys are high paid professional announcers who know the whole script from the beginning of the season till the end. They Both know that Matthew Stafford will win Super Bowl 56 on February 13 2022. Their job is to keep the public entertained with their presentation which I will agree that they do a great job at selling the script.

      You wanna know what? Yeah-it’s Stafford’s first year in a new offense with new players, but it’s nothing new for him. He came from Detroit, they have no coaches and new players every year or two…he’s probably used to it by now.

      Stafford and Brady were effectively the same on a per-pass basis according to the analytics (in this case, EPA+CPoE composite score) and people are crying about Brady not winning MVP. Stafford's top 5 easily this year.

      So let me get this straight. Stephen A won’t give Stafford credit for winning. He also won’t give Jimmy G no credit for winning.

      Yet, they are both in the NFC championship game when his boy “he’s a baaaaaaaaaaaaad man” A A ron is at home because he choked.

      Why should Stafford throw 3 to 400 yards if he has running backs? No team should put up those numbers with decent backs

      I mean if we’re counting Brady in for next season he isn’t. Stafford is a great QB but this year a lot of QBs had amazing years. Let’s count. Brady, Rodgers and Mahomes is a given. I think we can all agree on those 3. Than you have Josh, Burrow for this season and we cannot disregard Herbert, Lamar, Kyler, Russ, Dak. Now if I had to make a list for this year it would be
      1. Rodgers
      2. Brady
      3. Mahomes
      4. Josh
      5. Burrow
      6. Stafford

      I think Stafford’s peak performances can rival any one but his worst games are worse than all of these 5 guys and he tends to have those games more often than these guys. He isn’t as careful with the football as most guys are. He can make the biggest of plays but he does make a lot more mistakes with those interceptions and pick sixes. I understand that Burrow is in his first full year and Josh is in his second year as an “elite” player but they have the same amount of playoff success as Stafford, Josh has even more. And he does have sone players injured but look at the team he has around him. There are stars everywhere. Burrow does have great offensive weapons too but some of that explosiveness is only because of him. There is no other QB that could play as good as Burrow does with Ja’Marr. They just click super well. Now Ja’Marr could be very good in any other system but he wouldn’t be the monster he is right now. Cooper Kupp on the other hand looks like he could be the best receiver in any team. As long as you give him a QB with a strong arm, he will go off. What Stafford has available for him is a given. We saw how they still made a Super Bowl while having Goff and they made the divisional round last year. The Bengals didn’t have a playoff win in over 30 years and in his first full season, Burrow lead them to the Championship game with the worst offensive-line. You can argue about their talent but the intangibles that comes with Burrow places him higher for me, regarding what they had done this season. Now if Stafford wins the Super Bowl and plays out of his mind, that argument has a whole new elemenet to it but right now it’s Burrow

      I'm sure it makes his job so much easier to assign success in a team sport to individuals. I'm serious. He counts on uninformed, low information viewers not understanding what a needle mover is. What a productive player is. Why can't we call Trent Dilfer a great quarterback because "he" won a superbowl? Football is a team sport. Maybe Stephen should go cover strictly tennis or wrestling or something. I could sit up there and give credit only to beneficiaries of good teams. That's all he does.

      Stephen A’s arguments are so dumb. Yea don’t let him lose to Jimmy G or you’re not Top 5. Aaron Rodgers lost to Jimmy G TWICE in the playoffs. Stafford beats Brady in the regular then goes to Tampa and knocks em out 🤣 what can you possibly say about Matt stafford now?

      Jimmy G bottom 15 qb but somehow beating him was the standard. I mean we beat kyler who’s a pro bowler over stafford somehow and we beat Brady in the playoffs. Now in hindsight we beat the average jimmy G. Joe burrow is not a better qb than stafford at this current moment. Brady, Rodgers, Allen, mahomes, stafford. Top 5 qbs right there

      I agree for the first time in my life I agree with Stephen a. Happy for Stanford but not sure if top 5. Won’t argue if he is but he’s barely if he is in my book
