I’m wondering if Christian Pulisic is just more comfortable living in Italy than living in England? He did grow up in Germany. Maybe Italy is closer to Germany then England…..when it comes to lifestyle?
I hate myself for feeding the algorithm with this comment but You invite mockery on this player who competes at high level despite coming from a country where football is the 5th choice of the best athletes. Its hard for a lot of people to understand exactly how unpopular "soccer" is in the US at the college and professional levels relative to the other sports. US wont produce world class until our Michael Jordans and Tom Bradys choose soccer at the youth level. We are so far away from that now its hard to describe
I would actually argue that he hasn't changed much since his Chelsea days, just gotten a little more polished. When he was given starts back then he became "lockdown Pulisic" and was a top 3 most feared attacker in the entire EPL. Had some bad luck with injuries and a few managers who didn't see his quality and that shaped the last few years of his time in that league. But early on when Lampard had no choice and had to use him he was incredibly effective and dangerous for such a young player.
He's been absolutely fantastic since coming to Italy, and he's been even better so far this season. Scoring for fun, creating chances, pressing, he's doing it all. If he stays healthy the rest of the season he's going to have a monster season
The USian mentality of ignoring reality and instead believing whatever you want to be true never ceases to amaze me! So much dishonest spin just because you desperately want to have a world class player. Utterly pathetic. He's a good player.
Pulisic has always been good. He's wasting his time with the national team. He clears that garbage. Pulisic's dribbling, speed and passing is good. Should have never left Germany. Big fan of Seria A. Chelsea had too many #'s
