I think it says a lot that we Moroccans see El Khannouss as the most talented midfielder in our country. Because that’s saying he’s better than the rest we have including 2 La Masia graduates, one current Real Madrid player, 3 premier league players, the U20 World cup golden ball winner, plenty of Ligue 1, Eredivisie, La Liga and Serie A midfielders. And he truly is. Sadly players from these countries always need to do twice the effort because clubs love signing French, English, Argentinians, Brazilians instead, even if they don’t have the level.
