Semenyo is the best option for me, he is both footed which is very good attribute for an attacker so he can cross and shoot with both feet and he could provide the off the ball workload which arteta wants without any problem, i don't know if the other players would do that.

we don't have the money in jan and we weren't even mentioned at all in the article Ornstein put out. we have to hope spurs (ew) or liverpool sign him instead of city. then in the summer we buy yildiz.
Buying in January transfer window is only ideal if there is very desperate requirement to sign a player in a certain area which is really lacking in the team.most clubs will not agree to sell their players in January in the middle of the season and also even if we buy semenyo it just might disturb the flow and coordination of the team by trying to play a new player who may or may not fit our system. So unless it's absolutely necessary(which in arsenal's case it isn't because we have high competition inthat left wing spot already) it wudnt be ideal to sign him in January. Might be a really good idea in the summer though with some players potentially leaving

Signing him un January would also mean we could manage Saka and Madueke's minutes better which we need because of the injuries they've had. This si also true for Odegaard because we wouldn't need to get Eze back on the RW as soon as Ode comes back from injury.
We need to get in another striker, any age just a good striker to got with Haverz and Gyorkeres. Huge fan of Semenyo, just not sure if he can play as a touch line winner in addition to the inverted winger role that he plays for Bournemouth (Arsenal likes hybrid wingers for different games state)
But on the other hand, Mane was not initially seen as touchline winger when Liverpool signed him as well, so I guess he could surprise us 💯

8:32 I’m honestly not worried about us missing out on players anymore. We’re passed the point of needing to sign 4+ players every summer to fill in wholes in the squad. Next summer we could literally go all out on one signing, mean we could spend big and disrupt the market for that one player to make the team better.
I know we still need to pay Hincapies transfer fee, but Kiwiors transfer fee will cover that. And with players like Fabio Viera, Gabriel Jesus, Reis Nelson, etc.. I’m pretty sure we will be able to raise the money to cover Hincapies fee. Meaning, unless some key players would like to leave the squad, we could literally go all out on just one signing next summer.
So theres no pressure to make any big signing in January really unless our hands are forced to.

Rodrigo is the better player, a sensational talent, but Semenyo suits our needs better will understand being rotated and part of a squad knows the Prem lower wages and is an Arsenal fan.
