Oh my god, it just doesnt get any better than that. I have always been in awe of Michael Smiths throw and so disappointed for him when losing so many finals, well thats now changed, he has achieved what he has deserved and I hope he realises that in the darting world, he is now a Lionheart.

I was so pleased that Michael Smith won this match after his disappointment of last year and the reaction from his eldest son with the continuation of the word 'yes' was wonderful to see. Really well deserved win,two brilliant darts players trying their best. I must also add how gracious Michael van Gerwen was after the defeat,that was class!

I saw MVG wipe a tear from his eye as Smi celebrated 🍾, that was in my opinion because he knew what Smith had been through, well documented, to achieve this.If he had to lose then I say ,he was happy for it to be Smith. 2 Champions 🏆 🥇 ,MVG vs Smith ,again? Another 9 dart shootout ? Wonderful drama,& well done Wayne Markle : Won a World Champship as a commentator, Life can play some funny games : The best & most exciting commentary of all time !!!!
Pyrotechnics and cheerleaders at a dart event just seems crazy to me, no hate or anything it just seems like a weird place for it lol and it also seems like a small soccer event with the cheering and loudness from the crowd
