If they had offered him a contract extension mid season he likely would have stayed since he was very much the "Poster Boy" for Minesota. Once he got into free agency, it felt like an obvision decission for him.
From a Miami perpective, it shows growth that they arent just focusing on selling T-shirts, but rather on what players give them the best chance of improving their weaknesses. So far Jorge Mass is keeping his word on aiming to be a competitive team that kan win CCC.
