Sarmiento could be a good addition BUT not on the left as a right footed player. Boro need a left footed wide player because we have no width on the right side with Whittaker cutting in all the time and to have the same type of player on the left cutting in would mean we have zero width and make it easy to shut Boro out. It’s basic tactics Phil, come on mate. That’s part of why Mcgree works on the left, he can stretch the play to the byline, get crosses in whilst also being good at retaining the ball.

The one thing we miss when McGree is injured is his vision and passing. Not sure Sarmiento can replace that?
We need width and pace, not another moderatly paced inverted forward.
A squad player for Burnley and can't get in the Creminese side?, does not sound like any kind of replacement for Riley.
