I could actually see the Canucks drafting him at 9th, if Clarke and Johnson are gone. I know we have Demko locked up for 5 years, and DiPietro is waiting in the wings (as is Silovs), but taking Wallstedt at 9th, with Ian Clarke working with him, could turn Vancouver into a goaltending factory. Trading away top goalies when you have better ones ready to step in would be a dream come true. That said, I'm still hoping Clarke or Johnson are still there at 9.

Franchise goalie IF the right team drafts him and develops him properly.
I recommend wednesdays episode of the winged wheel podcast, guest interview with a goalie scout. Talking about scouting goalies, how its different than positional scouting ( obviously), what to look for etc. She mentions how many teams arnt good at scouting goalies, and even worse at developing them, most teams throw darts at a board and hope for the best.
In short she believes wallstedt is a franchise goalie depending on what team drafts him, being it's a red wings conversation, she mentioned, Detroit as not a good organization for scouting or developing goalies and doesnt believe he's a franchise goalie if a team like Detroit takes him.
Not too sure about Felix Sandstorm ever backing up Carter Hart.

Even tho he’s a goalie he reminds me of the luka Doncic of hockey overseas makes us under appreciate him a bit but started playing pro very young with already a solid floor
If the big 4 of Dmen are gone and somehow Wallstedt gets past Detroit and San Jose… I would love to refill the cupboards in the Canucks system… Give a gift to Ian Clark… Wahlstedt is the absolute dream for a coach like Clark… a cerebral goalie thats thrives on positioning that's an effortless skater, fairly big, probably will become team swedens goaltender… yes we have Demko and Depietro… I like both… yes it'll take minimum 3 years before the Canucks would see him… he'd probably sign a 2 or 3 year contract in Sweden. BUT to have an elite goalie/franchise coming up through the system….

Very much doubt the Canucks would draft him (good chance he goes before 9th) but would be pretty happy. Definitely the best goalie in the draft and would be a game-changing diamond for whichever team drafts him.

He fell to the wild at 20
Half of the season he was Luleas number 1 goalie, with a old veteran on the bench to relieve him. Half way in to the season Lulea got a possibility to buy back an old Goalie hero from when he got relieved from his job in KHL. Wallstedt got pushed back to backup since the team got cold feet to rely an entire season on him. The former Lulea backup got moved back to Linkoping since he played there alot, and managed to save that team to stay in the top league next season. After that Wallstedt got to play sporadically with the returning goalie hero, and result wise did better.
