Not a city supporter but I think they are doing the correct thing. To many players act more like spoiled school kids than grown men.

I fail to see how this helps anyone. His refusal to play was wrong but he will be even less likely to give his best for the club now. He will be even more determined to go. To get a good price for him he must be playing and impressing other clubs. You may get some low price bids trying to get an unhappy player at a bargain price though.
£20 million lol – not even the whole squad is worth that.
Hopefully this will install that there is ways of going about getting a move instead of chucking your toys out the pram and sticking 2 fingers up to the fans that have shown you loyalty
This is a balancing act and Clement has, quite rightly, changed his stance now he has realised that Totonto are serious. We need him gone, but for the right price…just not too much and we end up without millions that could be reinvested and a sulky twonk on a large wage for NCFC. He is our 2nd choice striker after all 🙂

Also understand Sargent wouldn't be focused?. Great opportunity too others its a 25 man strong ? Funny club if someone cant step up .25 minutes in a game .very sad if all we have in 25 is 2 and nothing in reserves horrendous. When does youth get a break too late once promoted???

I don’t even think market value should be deemed as acceptable. He’s had his head turned by Toronto and as a result breached his deal with us, to play. They’ve now potentially cost us points in the league. Slap market value plus another 10% for the troubles and he’ll be glad it’s that little
