  1. Why do The Budgies best players show no respect whatsoever for the club. Is it because your so S**t !! basically they don't give Fcuk about the little budgie badge, 🐀🐀 deserting a sinking 🛳 springs to mind 😂😂

  2. You say Holly shit about Josh Sargent text. I say good riddings of the shit, the last signing of the Premier league signings, hopefully stop the drop from now on, with the Big Mac. And with.
    COME WITH OUT.
    COME WITH IN.
YOU AINT SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THE TONY SPRIGETT

  3. Dom Bollard, Yousef Salech, Lorient Tolaj – top League One goalscorers, ages range 20 to 24. Couldn’t ask for a better line-up of face-value replacements. Sargent might also have a bit too much clout to allow Makama and Kvistgaarden to flourish while he’s around. An up and coming talent with them feels more balanced.

  4. The issue with the let him rot approach is that also sends a message to players only. The message is sent to prospective players who we haven't signed yet that Norwich could stand in the way of their next big career move and until we are the top half premier League team, that's always going to be the reality we live in

  5. 56:30 Pukki cared, Holty & Iwan too. All legends. Ultimately because of this, sergeant will just go down as another striker who played for Norwich City and no more

  6. Boys, you are showing your age with the Jovon comparison with Grant Holt.
I am showing mine by saying Jovon is another Chris Sutton in the making.
Holty bullied defenders off the ball, conned the referee for fouls just outside the box and Jovon has shown none of this.
He cannot lay a hand on Holty, not yet anyway.

  7. Don't think we should be signing a Striker on a perm deal. Makama would deserve being our main No.9. You would risk upsetting MK. Crnac is coming back as well. I would attempt to sign a young striker on loan if anything

  8. But did sargent know toronto was intrested at the start of the season and thats why he declined wolfsburg? It doesnt look good for all partys involved… Mr antinasio needs to sort this….

  9. 35:50 I think the issue here is knapper and Ma have both said that we HAVE to be a club who doesn’t stand in players way otherwise we won’t get them. clement obviously isn’t cut from that cloth and wants his best players and wasn’t here for that mentality to be repeatedly put out.

I think we’ve caused this problem to an extent by making it clear we won’t stand in people’s way. The minute we slightly do they kick off.

Not all obviously. Some have just been poorly advised. But we as a club do love to put that mentality out there. Just hope Clement doesn’t walk like Martin O’Neill did when I was growing up

  10. Big thing I think a lot of people forget is the USA doesn’t view Josh Sargent quite how we as Ncfc fans, or the wider English fan does. In their eyes they have a striker who never performs for his country, gone an eternity without a goal and is well down poch pecking order. I don’t think Toronto is going to offer anywhere near the money we need as in their eyes for a designated player they need it to be huge. It’s very backwards I appreciate it given people’s opinion of the mls but I’m not sure it’s worth more than $18m to them. So where does that leave sarge and Ncfc?

I mean hoolahan proved it’s recoverable but boy has he made it hard. Clement is hugely pro on hard working players who don’t let him down so big Mak is going to be starting now. Can you picture if sarge doesn’t get a move now because we simply say it’s not enough cash, it’s going to be toxic sarge jogging down the touchline to warm up in front of me in the Barclay and snake pits boys.

He’s going to have to face the music if he stays.

Really tricky situation we and sarge face now. Plays up and gets his move hurts Norwich, sends a bad message and clement potentially walks like Martin O’Neill. Sarge doesn’t get his move either because we don’t get the magic number knapper has set and I doubt anyone else is going to come in so sarge is stuck here and potentially no longer the automatic starter he was before and damages his career even further.

  11. Given Makama's performances and the fact we have Kvistgaarden to back up, I'm more ok with Josh leaving than I was 5 months ago. Reinvest the money elsewhere. Just that the current bid is nowhere near enough

  12. Normally in these situations I would say just sell him and move on. But in this case, I think keeping him is the better move. The thing is, we don’t actually need to sell him right now. He has good time on his contract, the money that’s been offered is way off his valuation and I think is much less than we’d get for him in the summer. Oh, and let’s not forget that sitting as low in the table as we are right now, we really need our best players to get us out of this mess.

I think if the club dig in, Sargent will have to apologise and give it 110% for the rest of the season to give himself a chance of going to the World Cup. The club also set the precedent that this behaviour is unacceptable and players will think twice in the future. We do this and then he’s finally sold for a reasonable fee in the summer. If another club come in now and offer a reasonable fee then I think maybe we should move him on but selling him now for pocket change? – We don’t need to.

  13. Who to replace Sargent with any suggestions, how about Serbian Dejan Jovelic from Sporting KC in MLS, also we need a CB plus an attacking or central midfielder, there's a Brazilian guy who plays in Chinese super League called Cryzan & he has a superb goal scoring record for an attacking midfielder

  14. Alternative view: Josh was quite happy here until he heard of Toronto interest. Being American, World Cup, it started to unsettle him so pulled out of match Sunday feeling that he couldn't concentrate on the match. This does not make him disloyal. He may not have been be looking to leave until the end of the season. If the club turn down the Toronto bid he may well knuckle down until the end of the season.

  15. Never seen Sargent as a leader. When Pelle wore the armband at the weekend he look 10xs the leader!!! Let him go surly we have a young striker in the academy give them a chance for the rest of the season!!! 💛💚💛💚

  16. Does anyone know it was his daughters birthday?
Or are we intentionally not mentioning this?
Not excusing his actions but I know I’d take a day off for my daughter/s.
    Great debating as always.

  17. Chaps, just to say I’m a Bristol City fan that came to gloat at the downfall of Manning, and stuck around for good club journalism. Can’t believe Sarge screwed you over and hope you avoid relegation. Thanks for the content.

  18. Sargent is not the best striker in the Championship. He's promised more than he's given IMHO. Norwich wouldn't be where they are if he was the best. Possibly should have gained promotion if he was. Not worth keeping a player who wants to go, but he's needed at least until the end of the season even as a Benchwarmer. Teams need depth. Then, goodbye and thanks for all the fish…
I think part of his thinking is his place in the World Cup squad…
His lower price reflects Norwich's relegation position unfortunately…

  19. I've spoken to Clement in my gym. There's no way he'd leave Norwich. Even if Sargent ends up being sold it will be with his blessing and with promises and guarantees from Knapper about where that money goes..
