They don't need "deniability" in finding a replacement. Their fan base soldily loathes Sargent now and the vast majority want him gone. They think Makama is a more-than-worthy replacement and are about to try and sign Hogh, today's goal scorer against City, from Bodo.
It’s more about stamping out the player culture at Norwich of wanting a move, refusing to play and forcing a move. Thats happened a few times at NCFC and the management are basically saying.. “No, you’re in a contract and it’s not acceptable to refuse to play!” Sarge is now suffering for that decision. Do we think other players will try that tactic now? Absolutely not. Ultimately ends in bad business for the club having that kind of culture. 💚💛
