Defensively, we were poor. I don't like this playing from back tactics, we just are not good enough at it. Giving the ball away in midfield too much. When we do get forward and string more than 2 passes together the wrong choice is made and it comes to nothing. Lots more hard work needed on the training ground required. UTO.
Whatever happens lads DO NOT BOOT THAT BALL AWAY FROM DANGER , keep passing it about at the back while they're pressing. I mean come on for Christ's sake , I don't blame these kids I blame the coaches. The next one will be a back pass to goalie who's stood right between the sticks , it's going under his feet , I can see it coming a mile off. YOU DONT FANNY ABOUT IN YOUR OWN SIX YARD BOX! I thought it was a Darren Moore thing.
To give away a soft goal after 3 minutes sums up our entire season. Yes it was only 2-0 but Leicester never got out of 2nd gear. I'd much rather see our goalkeeper clear it than tip tap about. Your one bad pass away from conceding and we just can't afford to do it coz Fletcher and co can't hit a barn door
Got caught on edge of own box several times against Birmingham and thankfully didn't get punished.
Frustrating to give cheap goals away. Didn't think we would get anything here but need to lose the bad habits if we have any chance of staying up. #UTO
I was talking to my old mate Jack Whitham in the pub last night about the lunatic and suicidal tactic of "playing out from the back". I got home and watched the highlights of the game and see the 1st goal – Jeeeeez!!! Why do it? Why gift superior teams goals before the game's hardly got underway? As a Blade I suppose some might expect me to be laughing but this ridiculous stuff is spoiling the modern game. Maybe not quite on a PAR with VAR (does that rhyme?) but it needs scrapping. Fans who travel long distances in large numbers don't deserve to be seeing their team handing 3 points to the opposition in the 1st 5 minutes of the game – it's a bloody insult to their intelligence and their loyal support. Along with placards of, say, "CHANSIRI OUT" they should have them saying "CUT THE CRAP" or "STICK YOUR BOOT THROUGH IT!" (Rant over)
If only your team was as good as those traveling fans last night. One of the loudest away support I've heard at the KP. Good luck for the rest of the season
