  1. Noticed on the old televised snooker matches the chalk marks , I did wonder why they're no longer visible – thanks to new chalks . Good to know 👌🏻🙂

  2. I'm reading a lot of comments about hard work !! Who out there wouldn't love to get up EVERY single morning and do the thing that they LOVE the most in life and earn millions ??? Golfers, footballers, snooker players, tennis players etc. etc. etc. should try a shift down the mines, the docks, unloading 56lb bags of spuds for 10 or 12 hours, doing something that they despise, or simply don't even enjoy, out of necessity to pay the bills or put food on the table for the kids. Olympians are the worst selfish narcissists they do something they absolutely live for every single day and then wallow in the glory, praise and adulation as if they've been forced into it like they were in communist Russia. No, the hard work in life starts AFTER they've finished playing around. Do you know what I did after retiring at 40 because of all the HARD WORK that I put in ? I played snooker and golf for 6-8 hours a day. Let me tell you, I've lived it and it was heavenly. The total opposite of all the HARD WORK, pressure and long hours I had to endure in order to achieve the privellage. So, in essence, the aforementioned ARE lucky and, invariably, over paid.

  3. 6 slabs upstairs!!??? insane!!! I had 3 slabs and mine back then were 1" 1/2 slate the guys said mine were at least 500 ilbs each and they had to bring in down stairs and my basement was a BEEEEIIIOOOTCH TO BRING DOWN…. lol but now a days people have soo many gadgets… this was in 1991 it was a 5X10 with snooker pockets…

  4. Good to still see some of the top footballers carrying on the tradition of having a table in their homes and playing the game well from when i grew up in the 70/80's.

  5. Imagine having your own games room like that, full sized snooker table, darts, and Stephen Hendry pops round for a few frames, have to say Maddison comes across as a nice guy too, very young was shocked to hear him say 3 kids, but good for him not out there chasing a wannabe wag.
