It became a RANDOM game you dummy!! I'm going to listen to the whole thing, but these guys sound like they don't understand fútbol. No one is making excuses, just stating facts. The condition of the field clearly benefited Venezuela and literally "leveled the playing field". It's ok. A team like Argentina, that bases its whole game on the technical ability of its players, deft passing, being able to involve the backline moving up and participating with the midfielders, etc., it's going to be totally handicapped playing in these conditions. I don't see why people can't accept that fact without making it seem like we weren't up to the challenge or saying that we were making excuses. It's unbelievable the hate we get. I guess we're just supposed to bend over and take it from FIFA and CONMEBOL (especially). It's fútbol so anything can happen, but I would bet that under normal conditions we don't tie that game….
