From a purely anatomical and kinesiological point of view, he was an astonishingly fast player, and his balance at speed was absolutely insane to see. He could’ve easily been a world class sprinter if he wanted to compete in that. That torque at speed surely led to his injuries as well, trade offs, still legendary.
Bale is the only player that Ronaldo feared would eclipse him, because on his day Bale was better. I sometimes wonder if that was why Bale had a rough time at Real Madrid.

Played in wrong positions, serving selfish Ronaldo, injuries and many of the "fans" didn't help. One season Ronaldo kept taking and missing with free kicks when Bale had a better free kick scoring percentage
