Jojo wallacot should forget
Ofori was called because he is Ghana's most reliable keeper. He just played for Orlando Pirates in a Cup game. He was excellent. Then he played for them in their recent CAF Champions League, he had a clean sheet. In both games he did not concede in open play.
Even if Ofori is blind seff he's far better than that statue called Wallacott!!!

You need a keeper that can take total control of the 18 box and i think Ofori can organize the players and scream at them irrespective of whether you are the captain or not. My only problem is that he is not good at penalties. For Andre, i think although we need him it's best for him to stay away because of the hatred. He should join the WC squad if we qualify we need him.
Whether they surprise Nigeria with squard list or not, they should just make sure we qualify, else!

But why must you, in particular, be surprised about Richard Ofori's inclusion into the team at this crucial point?? Let me kindly ask you this question, which of our current goalkeepers is better than him? He recently started playing for his club side Orlando Pirates, so what were you expecting the coach and technical team to do? Put someone who plays for a championship club in England🇬🇧 in the post, or a local keeper who has conceded over 10 goals in the African club competitions and a foreign-based keeper who has also conceded over 20 plus goals in 25 matches or so.?? Ofori didn't earn his place in the national team on a silver platter, he went through the meal and waited for the right time thus gaining the position of a deputy captain of the Black Stars. That isn't any mean achievement. He's the most experienced and most competent amongst all the goalkeepers selected. And also note that keeper selection is one delicate aspect of any team's setup. We can all learn from Germany 🇩🇪 national team
