I come back to say, I appreciate this tf out of this fight. When someone shows the heart and iq of a champion like Diego to turn the fight around completely in his favor, that's what makes fights as good as they get imo. Unfortunately most of them impressive IQ moments were last second decisions before the horn blew and it reset the whole rhythm the next round. But man this fight is just awesome. Underrated.

Ngl, Lopez went for the grammy awards here. That eye was open at the end during the decision announcement. He didn't want to continue. Brito was a bit too much for him, took his best shots and escaped his submission attempts. He mentally accepted defeat, that's when fighters start hugging up and showing respect at the start of the middle and last rounds. He needs to erase this loss, they should run it back
