At least We need a competent and experienced striker to convert the chances We creat we don’t need a youngster that might come good or might not . We also need one first class centre back , time is running out it’s only a matter of time before we drop from the 4th position like a stone . Teams have found out how to close shop against our attacking team then take advantage of our bad defence . Frank needs players that can deliver his ideas , not to mention our dodgy goal keeper that has gone from being average to a really poor keeper , so far football Gods have been on our side but how long can we hope that others are going to lose more matches than we do and hope we are going to be still 4th in the table ?.

Watched Milan last season. Piatek is a beast scored 30 goals for them. Slightly slowed down once he joined Milan but maybe because they got more talented wide forwards who would rather take a shot than create for him. But still an impressive spell with Milam during the 2nd half of the season.
Would prefer jovic but I would rather piatek than no-one… also wouldn't signing piatek mean our chances of signing werner in the summer are gone…
Piatek isn’t good enough imo. Chelsea signed some strikers that just aren’t world class quality. Morata, Higuain, Ba, Giroud, Eto’o were all average at best. If they are going for a striker from Italy they should push for Immobile. Look at Liverpool, Man City and Tottenham, they all have definite no’9’s that deliver year after year. Tammy is promising and has done reasonably well. I personally rate Batchuayi and I believe if he’s given more game time he would do bits. If Chelsea were to sign a striker, they should just splash the cash on a proven striker.
We need a Striker and Winger this window. Also the match against Hull showed how much deadwood needs to be cleared. Bats, Barkley, Alonso, Zouma, Kepa, Dave, Giroud, Pedro, Willian, Rudiger, Christensen, Jorginho and Emerson all need to be moved and replaced. I would sell Kante for $150 mil pounds and add that to the money in the bank to finance the rebuild. If any of you think any of the players listed above are good enough to win the ECL or EPL you have no idea what you are talking about. The players we should keep are Tammy, CP, CHO, RLC, Kova, Mount, James, and Tomori.

Piatek, was still good for Milan last season, he just hasnt played well been used much this season…..
Having said that he has only had the one good season, so for mind as big a risk if not bigger than gabigol, who will be cheaper, help get giroud off the books and is more versatile

Just sign someone good, so we can secure top 4. We have been linked to too many players in this window, but not making any actual progress. It's starting to get really annoying. What I don't want is for Chelsea to be linked with a bunch of good players to make the fans somewhat excited, and not be ambitious, then wait till last second in the window, and then just sign some mediocre guy that ends up being a flop in this club, which ends up being a disappointment not only for the fans but for the board. The board need to be more ambitious and smart and start making moves if we want to start being any better than the past 3 years.
