Do foreign coaches not understand the US mentality? The US does not have the super stars that the best teams in South America and Europe have. The US must outwork their opponents, they are not as skilled or classy. They have to play strong defense and counter attack. That is how they succeed. No star is going to bail them out.
The usa thinking they're in the same stratosphere as teams like Belgium, Brazil, Holland, etc. Is absolutely delusional. You can barely handle costa rica and Mexico, often you CAN'T 🤡🤦♂️ the usa are lucky to even get a draw vs columbia. This idea that theyre gonna compete with actual big boys is pitifully hilarious. 🤡
I guess I'm just shocked after watching so many talking heads review this past window. Casey thought the game was 2 to 1 at halftime?! I mean – did you even watch the effing game? How many times did you watch it? you get paid for doing this and you don't even know what you're talking about. Take your Kraft seriously. I watched it five times to really get a feel for it and see who messed up and who didn't and what we did wrong and all that. We DID dominate Belgium for most of the game, even into the second half. They had some quick counters and scored on us and yes we made mistakes but to say we cannot play with them is ridiculous. We out possessed them and played quite well for most of the game. I'll be putting up all the video evidence to shut everybody up. There is a definite stigma against the US but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. There was a lot of positives to go on but you cannot be giving up goals easily
The manager had clearly tweaked the tactics of the past few, successful windows. Attacking with both fullbacks was dumb. Hopefully, he returns to what had worked.
Get out of the group and win the new extra round is the limit. First good team will beat them (unless we get a 2002 home team situation) Everyone who really thinks semi-final is realistic, I'm sorry for you
