We have Khusa and Reis who are always fit and available. They need minutes and John is never fit when we need him. I do love John and he's an amazing defender when he's fit. But he's not and he will not be.

The trouble is that Stones, Silva and Ederson can all leave for free next year. Surely, getting even £75m for all 3 right now makes sense?

John should Stay, an amazing player for city whenever he’s fit. As long as we have 2-3 centerbacks who’ll mostly stay fit and perform (eg Dias and Gvardiol), his injury record shouldn’t be an issue as long as he performs on his day
