  1. Where do Boston get to wear yellow and blue jerseys you wonder why the younger kids do not watch baseball basketball and football every year you change your uniform addition was to stick with the uniform you had what is this new generation want to make change Boston looks like a big old yellow egg with those uniforms on

  2. Our catcher should know better. Runners have been trying to knock the ball out of catchers hands since the game was created.. He's lucky he didn't get hit harder. If our catcher doesn't like that move, he shouldn't be blocking the plate.

  3. The Cather is a bitch and a embarrassment to baseball

That was nothing, he clearly held back because that's the modern game and dude still cries about it

  4. May we go back 30 years ago and replay this exact play? The catcher would have been bowled over and then some, plus there would have definitely been a bench clearing with punches thrown.

This was a love tap with gentle pleasantries exchanged.

I miss the bad boy era in sports, it was who has the best skills and you had to play at 100 percent, with raw emotion or get ran out of a league.

  5. Any other instance and the guy coming in tries to slide under the tag Contreras knew he couldnt slide and beat it so he made his anger known by plowing into catcher. I promise had someone done that to him while he was catching he most certainly would have taken offense to it as well.

  6. Remember when benches clearing used to be awesome? Now it's just a bunch of grown men pretending like they're gonna do something while fans just wait for it to wrap up so they can get back to the game.

  7. Why are all the highlight from baseball today either this, or something fan in the stands making the best play for the highlight reel? Oh yeah, baseball🥱

  8. I think it was a simple misunderstanding. The runner knew he was too late so he was just running up to the tag. The catcher thought he was going to slide, so he whipped around to tag him.

  9. People are so soft these days. Even after it wasnt like the catcher was barking hot at him, it almost seemed like they were catching up with each other and the benches clear. Just a bunch of guys wanting to look tough

  10. Crazy since these guys were once teammates. Contreras even slowed down on purpose. Caratini is lucky it was Contreras and not a bigger, meaner base runner.

  11. It didn't seem like that big a deal even to the catcher. The catcher was just saying his piece to the runner and that's just fine.
He wasn't throwing any punches or fighting.
And I'm a Red Sox fan.
