Does Brighton have a better youth director and dorm setting with a game video LAN room? Weather well its almost France liek Kent cozy. System fits unless you had a player previously you cant always give the keys to a younger player and Brighton will. So Minty had a better year forced to sell Anderson pants down but he was behind 3-4 so his play wouldn't give him the breakout forest did.but them we gave a bag of cash back for the greek keeper bad office howe andy..got the deal we had to make to keep from punishment.
I would love if we were looking at players like Can Uzun (CAM) and Francesco Pio Esposito (Striker). They are young players who could come in and slot right into the team and elevate us and relatively under the radar at the moment.
Genuine question… what is Newcastle’s attraction to top talent right now?
Five years ago it was easy: new owners, huge ambition and an exciting project.
Today?
A season that at times looked closer to relegation form than Champions League form. A manager who seems loyal to favourites, often playing them out of position rather than trusting youth. Hall and Livramento spent most of their first season waiting for opportunities. Miley only got his chance through injuries. * Shahar, Neave, Park and Tsukisi can barely get meaningful opportunities to first team after impressing Anderson developed into a star after leaving. Minteh never got a chance. If Howe’s trust curve for young players is a year, how do we rebuild a squad that needs multiple new starters?
Then there’s recruitment. We can’t offer the biggest wages, yet we keep paying premium fees.
And if players like Woltemade, Wissa and Elanga underperform after arriving, at what point do we start asking whether it’s the system rather than the players?
Let’s see how they perform at international level. If they look far better away from Newcastle, Howe’s tactics and management have to come under scrutiny.
Most importantly, if you’re an 18-year-old choosing between Newcastle and Brighton, where are you going?
Hmm, Howe going in for two wingers…..4 3 3 again next season. We need good players I'm many positions not more pace down the wings. Here's hoping any winger incoming has some technical ability not just pace.
We can spend alot of money this summer. 85% of our revenue also we can spend i think upto 110% with only a small fine. So potentially over £400m + wages
Eddie Howe will fight tooth and nail to keep the likes of Pope and Murphy.. They'll both start next season and we'll not land muñoz the guy at betis or anyone else even remotely exciting this summer.

Pif should of sacked eddie weeks ago.
Munoz becomes top target, why haven't we bought him then? Dont tell me where haggling, then mackems swoop in and buy him.

Pope is to old anyway, move on, should have kept ramsdale on for another season. sell the majority of them for all i care there shite anyway
Trafford will cost no more than 35 mil. Or we get him as part of a Sandro swap deal.

Brighton have a proven pathway for young talent.
What exactly is Newcastle’s pitch today?
Just tell us when nufc have actually signed someone, and yes Eddie Howe should be sacked for the two derby defeats especially.
That’s what having a schitt season does for you!

You hardly missed out on Yohanna. He was tracked by Brighton for ages and yous tried to poached him. 😂

Can't see the point of buying 2 goalkeepers so close together age wise. If we need a #1 I think we go older wiser than Trafford
Sorry turned off when you said pope (the Clown 🤡) was a good signing for us lol. I would rather have you in goal . Fgs he is terrible. Cheers
Let pope go, he is always worth one goal giving mistake every other game.
Trafford rejected us to go city so why would we wanna have him at are club
was working. watching on catch up
NO TO TRAFFORD
Eddie has done so much damage to the club we cannot attract talent

If pope goes we need a new keeper
If Pope is still at the club next season he will start every game and we will finish in the bottom half of the table again
We are pussy footing about, if we truly want this kid Victor, pay the release clause
