Wingers like vinicius demonstrate every game that they can’t dribble but rely entirely on pace advantage to succeed, and defenders like upamecano show a total unfamiliarity with positional sense but make up for that with raw strength.
In goal, your height, reach, and an explosive jump can make you a decent shot stopper and dominant on corners, but the inability to handle the ball, anticipate the play, or position correctly will lead to goal after goal conceded.
If only all of football was this unforgiving to talentless footballers who coast on athletic advantages.
