He didn't deserve a win over Overeem.
I remember people criticizing Cain for fighting Bigfoot twice. But this fight is the reason why he had a rematch with Bigfoot. If Overeem would have won this fight, then he would have fought Cain for the heavyweight championship at UFC 160.

Bigfoot always just stands there and provides his opponent with a stationary target he isn't fast enough to do anything like that his reaction time is always slower than his opponent he's hit or would have been before he knows it and he isnt fast enough to effectively counter in a striking exchange. Usually his best work comes when he kicks basically he should start and end with kicks and work his game around that instead of standing in range playing a game he can't win. He doesn't have a great chin he may have at one time but he soon became like Overreem himself capable of a knockout but just as likely to get knocked out in a flash knowing all this why he didnt seek to protect his chin more work his kicks to try to stay out of range of punches and try overall to work to take more fights to the ground makes me question his coaching or management. This was one of his biggest wins if not the biggest but he could have been a lot better and not taken so much damage and if Overreem wasn't so arrogant then he likely beats Bigfoot
