If you have great timing, you can hit no matter how bad your swing mechanics are. Great swing mechanics can make up for insufficient timing, to still hit line drives. Players Having more strike outs than hits is not a good example of good hitters.
I did that when i was young and my coach kept trying to "correct me" but it ruined my batting % so luckily he allowed me to do it my way in the name of if it works for me it woks for me. Now is best for everyone..
This is an honest questions no just for me to learn but would doing what their doing in the video make me lose power because I’m already in my load or what???
AHHHH Curtis Granderson. The strikeout King. As a Tigers fan I did not miss that guy. Not sure why he's acting like he was ever on time in his career. That was his downfall. All pull but often late isn't a good combination.
Please give this a read if you have a few moments..
Here is the Gospel (or, Good News): God says that we are sinners and that no amount of good works or behavioral changes on our part could ever make us holy enough to enter into Heaven. God sent His only begotten Son to be crucified on the cross to pay for our sins. Jesus paid a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt of sin that we could not pay. 2nd Corinthians 5:21, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Jesus paid for our sins by dying on the cross for us all. His dead body was buried in a grave. On the third day, Jesus raised up bodily from the dead.
The instant you believe this, God knows it and He saves you. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” The free gift (Romans 5:15) is based solely upon your trust in what Jesus did for you, and has absolutely nothing to do with what you do for Him. Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” It is that simple my friend to be saved
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
"15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"(1 co15:1-4)

Wow Granderson brings back some memories
And that is why all these players are pulling muscles , cramping up and tearing muscles. They are hitting as if they were pitching without a windup.
So coaches telling me to load up was all bs
You find a guy named martinez & buy steroids or you have side base managers giving you what they are about to pitch. Or trash can ASTROS style
I start here but literally shows himself loading up. This whole thing smells of a money scam for that one hitting coach. Sorry. Not sorry.
Read the science of hitting by Ted Williams. Ted W explains all of this in his book.

Grandy was better on the yanks than the Mets before he changed his swing

Oh that’s it, thank Aaron!
K-Long, ladies and gentlemen
Granderson had a pretty swing. And so did Soriano
No one cares bruh

But maybe we need to start looking at the lighter guys that hit bombs to learn how to hit, rather than guys weighing 230+🤔
Everyone hits differently, simple as that.

Detroit Tigers Curtis Granderson was something to watch. Thought he would replicate it in NY but still, he was nice. 😮💨
This is so simple, yet most hitters have ridiculous egos and resist change even when it's the most logical thing to do, such as this.
It's maddening when trying to teach hitters to simplify all the garbage they do before their swing.
Aight bet !
see even the pros use a tee 😂
