I think Gundo moved to futher develop his inevitable manager credentials. It's important to widen your idea of football by understanding the different cultures. Additionally, the intensity of the premier lg where everybody seems like an athelete is impossible to maintain. La Liga has intensity but it's within a limited distance where technique solves most puzzles. Lastly, if you want to manage widely you better speak English, German and Spanish, so La Liga is inevitable.

I still think the midfield box 4 will be Frenkie, new holding midfield, Gundogan, and Pedri. Pedri will play that Gavi role, start out left shift central, while Gundo plays on the right side going forward in that inside right space.
