As a CR7 fan, there's nobody I loathe more than Martinez in this WC. You're playing CR7, one of the most lethal aerial threats in modern football but crosses are nearly non-existent in your gameplay. It takes some special talent to turn a team stacked with great midfielders and wingbacks into one of the most passive attacking teams in the tournament.

In fairness, it's on Belgium for appointing him, he did a lot better than Wilmots did who proceeded him, Martinez actually finished 3rd in the world cup and them going out at the semis to eventual winners France wasn't an obvious screwup, Belgium wouldn't have been certainties to beat the French under other circumstances. Maybe they would have if they hired a Mourinho or something, but that French team had been coming together for a few years quietly and M'Bappe was a sudden superstar emergence that pushed them up a level.
Blame him for the lackluster other campaigns sure, but he did pretty decent with them overall.
