I care about the money spent on a player because I worry about the transfer budget and how this transfer conditions other operations and the quailities of players you can bring. For example I urge Milan to sign Scalvini but for less than 45M is not gonna happen, now add that Milan is compromising nearly half budget on Ramos so it is harder to bring the key players: Ramos, Scalvini and an Amorim's midfielder pivot alike.
Transfermakt states that Milan has already earned 44.5M, Álex Jiménez, Morata, Colombo, Pobega, but can earn up to 111.5M more selling the following players:
Estupiñán, Tomori, Odogu, Fofana, Loftus-Cheek, Musah, Bennacer, Bondo, Chukwueze.
So a budget of 156M for this transfer window, where 74M on Ramos and 80 for Scalvini, a Pivot and a left Wingman? Rough
Plus if you sell Santi you overcomplicate the market as now you have to look for a substitute for Ramos, personally I wouldn't take that risk unless a big offer comes? Rough again
I just don't want, clubs to scam ac Milan, it's still over paid for me , but I hope he scores alot of goals
Kush can you start doing rumor or real
So many striker's have fail in Ac Milan in the last few years
Milan is a cemetery for any striker no striker is going to do well unless they get a good coach and the club to not be in problems issues ect
Another season without a serious striker???? You got to be kidding me!!!
I just hope you are not selling shit as chocolate because I bought it. 😂
I honestly haven’t seen enough of his play. From what you’re saying it appears he’s the perfect striker to play BETWEEN Pulisic and Rafa. Maybe Rafa is more likely to want to remain at Milan with a Portuguese teammate and Portuguese coach. That’s something to get excited about. A reminder that Pulisic is also a back tracking winger. That bodes well in a high press style of play. To see Rafa and Christian at their natural position with Ramos between them is tempting. As far as the price goes, who knows. We’ve had several busts. Thanks Kush.
Yet again Milan just buy an expensive and mid striker!
Another Nkunku incoming 😂
If this deal doesn't close the doors for any other deals, then is a good one, and well done by the management.
Now, I'm guessing here but they're probably already working on leão and Gimenez sales, that's why they can afford it.
Let's wait and see everything that's goes on at the transfer window.
The reason you care about the money (that’s not yours), is because the money the club ultimately has to spend (on behalf of the fans, intimately to put forth a competitive team), is debilitating if they carelessly spend like this, which ultimately means you, the fan, suffers from bringing in the best talent to the team, and lack the funds to do so, had a large transfer budget chunk not been for this absurd fee for Ramos.
Milan are also agreed terms for Young Star, Antonio Silva! Yes! Milan need to get into the Portuguese league market, so many star players there waiting to evolve into a big club and project. Anarnim didn't have much say at Untied. I think in Milan he can have options and use his connections.
His agent Mendes is happy.
for some of us maybe hes not that much a striker for that price but hey lets not forget we are not that big club either in the last 2 years, anw im not even italian and lived in milan im just gonna support them as long as i can. survivor of #gameover era and #wearesorich nothing can hurt me anymore, forza milan fino alla morte!!
Glad for you. Been watching for a while.
But one BIG caveat for the pressing stats. 5:18
Defensive actions when adjusted for possession are adjusted for the time the team is on the defensive. So for high possession team as PSG, his actual stats were much LOWER.
The stats are still impressive on their own though.
Seeing rumour about Mount, i think Amorim trying to pull Tenhag 2.0 at United
Starting off the video with a Perisnitch tweet about Milan lmao his obsession is intercontinental at this point
I'm optimistic
Where is Gerry hiding the cash???
Another waste of signing again 🙃
Also no CF shines at Portugal cuase mr GoAT refused to retired
At least till he get 1000 goals and a world cup
Can’t wait for it to fail for not giving their Mexican striker and others a chance
We definitely over paid for him! But I do appreciate your argument about how quick and smooth it went down. We have loss so many players because dragging negotiations and do miss out on top prospects and that’s what Ramos is a top prospect! In red birds defense they have put their money where their mouth is and now in days players are overpriced!
The only explanation for the amount paid is mostly likely there will be some big sign outs. Names like maignan, leao, pulisic, rabiot.
This player IS good enough for serie a. For current serie a. Hes not Haaland but hes a good no.9. Mendes did his job and God knows why this happened… and where the money went.
Wonder if that goal vs Croatia will spark a Leao-Ramos lethal duo, and also calm Leao about staying with AC Milan. A fan can dream
This next chapter will prove whether Gonçalo Ramos has the quality to develop into an elite, everyday leading man for a European heavyweight, or if his ceiling was just temporarily capped by a bad stylistic mismatch in Paris.
I'm excited about a striker signing for the first time in a very long time.
He's proven he can play at the highest level. He's been a substitute for the best club in the world that had Mbappe and a ballon d'or winner in front of him. Being used as a substitute for the last three seasons means he's doesn't have the wear and tear that someone who has been run into the ground for five years has.
I see parallels with Julian Alvarez's Man City to Atletico transfer here and that move worked very well for Atletico.
