Of course he's a player coming towards the end of his career, but he's still absolutely got enough ability to contribute at this level and given we have a pretty young squad, and the priority is signing younger players, he'll be a great player for the younger members of the squad to learn from.

Hopefully anyone who was questioning this signing on social media now fully understand why this absolute professional has been brought into our club. What an interview, very well spoken, thoughtful with his answers and you can see his is still massively driven. I liked a lot of his answers pointing towards backroom staff and not necessarily just playing staff. I wonder if he has ambitions in coaching afterwards
