We can't lose gvardiol to city like we did with haaland. Remember Chelsea aren't the only ones going for him
I really don't know if signing Gvardiol now is a good thing. We have Thiago Silva (who can easily play for another 2 season), Koulibali (Who is a sought after defender and a top world class defender who can play another 4 seasons with us), Wesley Fofana (Who is also a very good top class defender and quite young too) and Chalobah (our very own player who is a no nonsense defender) and also Azpi (our captain). Gvardiol is very good defender but we also have a top class defender who is eager to play every game. Resting one and playing him will affect in the long run. We got Levi Colwil who is quite good and he will be coming back soon. Gvardiol ball playing is good but sometimes he is quite erratic some of the time.
I really don't think we sign Declan Rice. He isn't that really good as we expect.
A German journalist is saying nothing has been agreed but you doubt him in favour of David and Fab who gave us mostly misleading info on our summer targets.?
If our future centre backs are Fofana and Gvardiol with a season or 2 to grow and learn under Silva I don't think you can ask for a much better long term partnership at the back 👌
I just do not rate Rice at Chelsea level and never have I believe he's a 30-40 million pound mid table star on his best days ans nothing more 🤷♂️
It's not the uncertainty that bugs me tbh, I feel like whilst he'd be a great addition, with us potentially getting leao and trossard, not to mention Vale returning next summer and possibly endrick eventually, our attack will be stacked.
Say we get rid of mount, kai, Pulicic, ziyech, and 2 years time auba. We'd have broja, sterling, nkunku, Gallagher, leao and potentially trossard, potentially Vale and endrick, idk how that would work. I'd rather a tomori rather than gvardiol when silva retires or leaves ngl, have him prove his doubters (super frank) wrong 40 mil isn't bad though.
I think I'd rather have a Bellingham than nkunku, but idk we'll see. We'd better keep broja, he needs to be patient for 1 season, auba leaves, as long as broja performs it's his spot. Though if broja does leave I'd go for tammy, both would be great though.

Gvardiol is a opportunist signing in my oppion. it's not like we really need him but because he available on the market.
Hope chelsea can get atleast fourth if they manage to sign💙🇬🇧🦁
