I'm not happy that we've spent all this money and have still not brought in a quality striker. It's been over 10 years since I last saw a good striker at this club.
I'd like to see us focus mainly on players in their early 20s who can give us 4-5 years and still be sold for more than we paid so it's a sustainable model. That's what I'm hoping Steidten will do. Kudus, Alvarez and Mavropanos fit the bill, as would Edwards, Maartsen and Ekitike. Happy with someone like JWP for a reasonable price. Kostic is too old for me.

Really hoping this yuri alberto thing falls through… he looks no-where near the level needed. 1 goal in 3.3 games last season in a much inferior league, he's basically just a non-english jordagn hugil and not fast or physical either… glad this one is off!
