  1. ..meanwhile. Malik Tillman has become an American hero. Also Sebastian Berhalter (do not confuse him with his dad) and others

  2. The biggest criticism against the USMNT is the perception that they are mentally soft. The athletes aren't seen in the same light as American Football players, baseball players or American Hockey players. Soccer in the US is seen more as a rich man's game. The blue-collar kids play different sports and they take their grit with them.

  3. 6:44 as an American… I’d absolutely boo his dumbass. But then again, don’t like soccer cuz we have NFL🏈, so it’s not like I’ll ever see him in person 😂

  4. Felt bad for the US team in a way cause American public are so stupid that they think anything they play they should win and 99% of these people hyping up the team didn't even know a soul on the roster before this. seeing posts from people after they were knocked out saying how disappointed and that the team is pathetic, like what planet are you living on? They never had a shot to begin with, just be happy they got as far as they did, they're not a soccer dynasty, stop acting like they are.

  5. I haven’t watched him much: some dortmund matches and the occasional Chelsea game.

I just don’t think he’s creative enough to be that star man for USMNT. It always feels like he needs somebody else to be the main creator, which is not really how the national team is set up.

  6. He is the Gilderoy Lockheart of soccer. Self-centered and arrogant star who loves the attention but in reality is cowardly because he secretly knows he’s a fraud and could never live up to the expectations he set. That’s why he’s making up all of these excuses to get out of playing – he doesn’t want people to see the truth.

  7. It’s bc they are a bunch of soft rich kids who go cry when they get “punched in the month” look at Gio for example or the fact that none of them can actually play thru an injury

  8. I kinda like that trump told fifa to F%#} off and fifa folded like a hot taco. Is trump an attention seeking ass? yes, but fifa is filthy and is clearly corrupt. Allowing some teams and players to get away with much more while unfairly punishing others. I wish more of nations leaders had the balls to call out FIFA. England! Why have you allowed your game to be stolen and mislead. Football doesn’t need FIFA but fifa dies without football. Look what ea sports did. Cut out FIFA and didn’t miss a beat!

  9. 4:07 okay I need to clear this up because it’s driving me crazy. AMERICANS ARENT CALLING PULISIC THE LEBRON JAMES OF SOCCER!!! The nickname comes from a dumb reality TV show here that no one takes seriously!!! The show goes like this: people bring stuff into this pawn shop in Las Vegas- the pawn shop owners low ball the hell out of them- they try to make a deal on said lowball offer. Some dude brought in a Chelsea Pulisic jersey and tried to sell it at the shop. This dude knew these owners probably couldn’t care less about the sport and probably wouldn’t even know who Pulisic is. Knowing full well that these shop owners would have little to no idea who this is, he tried his best to exaggerate the worth of the jersey by comparing him to an American athlete they would know. ITS NOT A NAME GIVEN TO HIM BY US FANS!!!

  10. Puli is one of my favorite all time American players, but I think this WC gave everyone a glimpse of why he's so maddening to watch as a fan. Against Paraguay he was legitimately unstoppable, I've never seen him play like that ever in my life. Then he got injured, as he often does, and from that moment on he played scared. He didn't try to attack Belgium like he did against Paraguay. The US NEEDED him to do that and he never even tried.

I consider Puli a "win more" player at this point. He's a wonderful player, but he's not going to help you win. He's going to help you "win more". If the team around him plays well, he will up his game. If the team around him falters, he shrinks. I think as time progresses, you will see American fans look more favorably upon Tyler Adams (who is an incredible player) than they do Pulisic, ESPECIALLY if Puli doesn't take either the goals or assists national record.

  11. Hi! I've been enjoying your vids recently. Do you watch women's football too? It'd be interesting to hear your takes there!

  12. Americans thinking that football is the same as basketball and that one person can just score most of the baskets/goals for the team by himself and be the savior of the nation is one of the funniest thing ever.

Messi is amazing, but even he doesn’t score all the goals for Argentina. Everyone in football has their own roles, so everyone needs to be great, and you also have to have a great manager. You can’t just sign a Jordan or a Kobe or a LeBron in football and expect to win everything, that’s not how it works. Real Madrid has arguably the biggest star power out of all and yet they are not the team to beat in football.

  13. I’m gonna be honest, in all the team USA games I’ve watched, which to be fair isn’t a ridiculous amount, but it’s an ok sample size, I’ve never once been impressed with his play

  14. I'm being so serious when I say your videos are actually helping me get into soccer/football, now keeping up some with some clubs a the champions league. They're super clear and interesting, thanks man! 🙂

  15. Christian Pulisic should be stripped of his capacity. If we are serious about getting better, instead of settling for continued relative mediocrity, we have to demand a better captain.

  16. I have been watching and trying to figure out why everybody loves him so much. He seems to get so little done when he is on playing. Sadly he is a victim of US sports brands attempting to force a “Michael Jordan” symbol in soccer

  17. Imagine being from the UK and having the audacity to talk shit about America and Trump. Newsflash, FIFA IS NOTORIOUSLY CORRUPT , and on top that England hasn’t won SHIT OUTSIDE OF SOCCER AND NEVER WILL

  18. I remember when he started playing for Chelsea. I was excited to see a younger American player playing in the Premier League, but didn't pay attention to him because he was playing for Chelsea. Now, I don't pay attention because his attitude just does not impress me.

  19. You cant expect one guy to do everything when the team is mediocre they just played at level they are if you see womens cup the usa team is really good it depend on team jotnjust one player

  20. Did not lose me as a fan. Did he come through during cup no but anyone who plays sports or is active knows pull sprain whatever stuff hurts.i think he has a lot to show. Hes a grand player but stop hating on him.
