  1. Garnacho is so talented, 11 goals 10 assists in his last season at Man U, if Emery can get him up to his best he could be a revelation. A lot of the claims about him have no real evidence, yeah he’s been immature and done stuff on social media but we’ve all been a silly kid before. What would Rooney, Beckham or Ronaldo have been like at 20 years old with social media? I’m willing to take a punt and see what the kids got UTV

  2. I wanted Garnacho last summer, but I’ve felt we should go for Mbaye this year. Then again, we could still end up with both if Bailey and Guessand leave. I heard Garnacho said he regretted his past behavior at Man Utd, so maybe he’s grown up a bit.

  3. Because Erik Ten Hag and Amorim were absolute trailblazers for Utd right? They had Utd competing for major accolades and achievements… let’s not forget Maresca who was at Chelsea for 5 years and then followed by the most prolific manager after Liam Rosenior…. Oh wait none of that is accurate, because those clubs couldn’t figure what was coming through the door let alone who was taking care of the boys on the field… Garna has a real coach now and a fixed place without compromise, you lot watch what he does when he’s not at a shit club

  4. He is our players now so hobsons choice
There has to be better out there
Still think Chelsea had our pants down
Hoping we have the last laugh and it works

  5. Let's get behind Garnacho, give the lad a funny song & help him settle in, plenty of things to rhyme with Alejandro. If Emery unlocks him he could be impactful like Rashford was. Not what we all wanted but here we are, personally I'd have preferred Jackson from them, still can't believe we haven't been in for Stones for free or got the Palinha deal over the line. Let's hope this deal comes good 👍🏻 🙏🏻 ✌🏻💜🩵

  6. Garn is a Villa player that’s it , get behind him .. He can def play .. It’s up to him .He can make himself a star.He won’t find a better club with better lads , and a better manager.Dont forget Utd and Chelsea were basket cases when he was there..

  7. We need to give Garnacho some love as a fanbase, anything less and its doomed to fail, and we are better than that… Not sure about the vocals fella, stick to making content 🤣… UTV!

  8. Shame about Estupinan. Thought he would've been a good pick up for a reasonable fee. Got premier league experience and did well at Brighton. Reports saying the move is blocked FOR NOW and we might still be able to sign him later in the window. We can't wait around though a risk having to panic buy by a substandard player on deadline day, I'm sure Olabe will have other options on the shortlist.

  9. Agreed, I am at peace with the Garnacho deal. As fans we often fall in love with the idea of a player rather than the reality. I wanted Mbaye yet I’d never heard of him a month ago! I’d heard he is a young star at PSG, he was the new Dembele, the new Mbappe, I was sold on the PR but actually I have no actual knowledge of him. Putting an 18 yr old in the heat of the PL is a huge risk, he’d probably take a few seasons to settle. We don’t have that kind of time. Garnacho is a proven, experienced entity, he’s PL ready, drop-and-play. Yes a risk but much less than Mbaye.

  10. Lol it's not a matter of if yall get it right it's abt if garnacho gets it right at this point …… most likely he will tho he would be trying to rehab his market value and perceived worth …..it's more or less his last shot unless he pulls off a gyokeres career wise

  11. Hi Luke I know gerno's are saying it's easy targets for garnacho but also read that the fa (our who ever is in control of the rules) have been also been all over this deal and are satisfied that it's not an easy target too meet and satisfied that it's not just a loop whole we gone through. Seams were under restrictions and we are in constant talks with them . Then I'm inclined too think that it won't be as easy as Elliot and they be some performance based targets too hit aswell

  12. I'm bored of fans of other clubs saying this is part of the Rogers deal, because it's not. Emery wanted Garnacho BEFORE he joined Chelsea, so he wanted Garnacho and Rogers in the same Villa team. Look at how many times he's tried to get Joao Felix!!. We also know that he's wanted to bring Jackson to Villa ever since he took over. Two seasons ago he would've happily sold Watkins to Arsenal to them bring Jackson to Villa Park. Emery can see players who he knows can play "his way". His frustration with Monchi was that he was failing to land his primary targets. Villa offered Arsenal the opportunity to match Chelsea's bid so the deal wasn't beholden on us signing a Chelsea player. Anyone who knows the history of Emery at Villa shouldn't be surprised at this deal. He becomes fixated on players who he is convinced with be ideal for his system. The difference is he now has Olable who is getting deals over the line 🦁 UTV

  13. The more that time passes I think garnacho could be a gem of a signing… If unai can get half a tune out of him. Estupian would of been perfect but we cant afford to wait about as you say for the slim pickings at the end of the window. Hope unai can get a good look at some of the youth coming through and the likes of cisse… Maybe could do a job through out the season. We need another cm badly as we are gonna be light esp with bouba only coming back. Bailey and guessand out and get another high quality versatile attacker in 👌 might not be a bad window come January 😅 UTV

  14. We should get behind Alejandro and try and build his confidence… everyone deserves a chance… until they throw that chance away… Up the Garnacho, Up the Emery, Up the Villa 🩷🩵 🦁

  15. I think we have stolen a really good player. The facts are manu got rid of a player because the manager said he had an attitude problem. That manager got sacked because he was the problem. Chelsea got him and they had a bad season and finished 10th and also sacked their manager because he was the problem. garnacho didn't play much. He may not be the problem

  16. I back garnacho … I mean he wanted to leave English football cause he felt like he weren’t good enough hopefully he can play the unai way and I’m sure he will fly this is a proper unai move a talented player that just not clicking he will unlock him I believe

  17. I've come round to the idea, we have to! Emery is great at bringing the best out of players. The kids got talent and didnt he want him last season?

  18. I feel you can’t rule any player out under UE, he is a master and unlocking players. If in the ends it makes us better then I’m all in on Garnacho. UTV. Can’t wait to get over for a game this year

  19. 100% agree with you Luke about having the ability to change your mind about a player.

I thought Garnacho was very poor at Chelsea but maybe it was because of constant change of managers who wanted something he couldn’t deliver.

Let’s see how he fairs under Unai

  20. Would be surprised, but probably wrong, that Garnacho obligation is less than 10 EPL appearances as UEFA would deem that to be an easy target and consider it a permanent transfer.

I know 10 for Elliott seemed easy but it didn’t happen although it wasn’t something that could be considered a player exchange

  21. Not completely surprises Amorim wants to see him first , Pervis was actually linked to United under Amorim , as Pervis fits his system well, but they had too many LB's at the time , right before he joined AC Milan, but Amorins's interest waa there. I was really looking forward to see him at Villa under Emery.

  22. I have always supported the villa, I want them to get the right player and to do well but I want us to build around a main player which is Mcginn because I don't want the squad to be unsettled with to much moving in's and out's, I it's the way now with rules and regulations, just annoys me with uncertainty, but still a big UP THÈ VILLA.

  23. I’m excited about Garnacho! Villa need an edgy player or two. He’s on the team now and deserves our support. We can judge at the end of the season.

  24. Luke well said,95 per cent did not want him ,even me but need to give the lad a chance hệ is only young hé is going to grow up and get a better footballer, what we're we like at that age, lets wait and see this could be the best signing of thế summer

  25. I work in mental health Luke, I have for many many years, I love to watch and view how the mentality of footballers can shape careers. This is a 22 year old with undoubted ability 🤷‍♂️ if Unai can get into his mindset and get him focused we have a player on our hands 😮‍💨 those who laugh last …
