I notice you always sharpen towards the point I always sharpen away from the point, so as not to burr the point Is it personal preference, or is there an advantage either way? 👍 🐟 🎣

where can I found that holder for hook Matt?
I use a worksharp field guide sharping better than a file,👍
Your better of with an engineers stone. You can get them in different grades aswell
What do you use to stop the hook from rusting? I sharpen my hooks but they rust quickly.
I've got the Gardener hook Dr mk 2 spot on hooks are really sharp after using it.
I use a strip of wet and dry stuck to a three inch piece of wood
I use a ceramic nail sharpener with Jag written on it. Now I'll have to write vallobe

Item code TF1024, available from HSWalsh you can also use TF1014 or TF1124, both will do the same job. '4' denotes the cut grade.
