Stoke played well in the second half but that penalty shout has to be one of the dodgiest decisions I've ever seen. It was nowhere near the ball and took out bothe the Boro players legs inside the box. As clear a penalty as you will ever see. Absolutely baffling. Even the commentary didn't say it was obvious. I was in the pub with Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and Stoke fans. Everyone said it was a stone cold penalty. No arguments. Not even questioning.,
We're unlucky to not score 2 or 3 in that dominent second half display. Middlesborough were made to look extremely average as we had them on the ropes for the whole half.

Blatant cheating by the ref. Football is corrupt AF. Fair play to Stokem they had a good go in the second half and as a Boro fan I think they did well but the penalty in the first half was oneu of their music st clear and blatant you will ever see. My stoke fan friends both admit it was a shocking call from the ref. Unbelievable.
First half ref was totally on stokes side but fair play to stoke in the second half. Played well. Deserve a draw. But the blatant penalty in the first half might have changed the game. Watch it again. How is that not a pen? Corruption or incompetence? Whatever it is it's a terrible the ngbto happen in an otherwise great competitive top level championship game.
Man city didn't play anything like their best but for about 7 years they were the best team in Europe by far. Cups don't always tell the story of who is the best. Real and Liverpool have won this cup so many times with luck. They are both clearly great teams but it's a cup. The only teams who have won in by being the best team in the last 20 years are PSG, Man City and Barcelona. IMO. Real, Liverpool, Chelsea etc are all great teams but they definitely won it when they were not the best in Europe. Absolute no arguments. The winners of the English premiership is definitely the hardest thing to win and indicatee best in Europe. Maybe a non premiership team could win it but I very much doubt it. It's a long and hard season.
