Was thinking to myself who'd make a good captain, but I honestly can't name anyone decent for the job. Also tried to make a best England XI and not so impressive, I couldn't even really settle on a decent midfield or defence.

With a better manager, England have some good footballers and could do better. Excellent full backs in Walker and Rose. Great attackers in Kane, Sterling, Ali. In midfield Dier, Henderson and Wilshire can do a job.
