      Martin Skrtl,a player who is 34 years old this year and is on £50k per week,Rangers needed £4 million pounds in directors loans & £3 million from Close Brothers just to keep trading last season! How can they pay £4 milllion for a 34 year old with zero resale value plus a huge salary?

      More realistic will be a raft of loan signings from Liverpool Academy & players in mould of Curtis Main (Motherwell), Jordan Jones / Mulumbu (Kilmarnock.) I do not believe Rangers will sign any star names. They cost BIG money.

      Celtic dont have budget to sign these players, we are talking upwards of £50,000 a week! never'mind Rangers, well, they are wrong side of 30 and could flop spectacularly, would be a spectacular gamble if Celtic, who are loaded, for example, tried to sign these players.. Rangers have no money. It is clear by now. I cant believe a single Rangers fan bought into this notion of star names arriving at Ibrox. Cant believe the fans were whipped into a frenzy. You werent signing Gerrard the player, you signed an untried, so called Manager. This is going to end in tears. Stopping ten in a row with out of contract players and loan deals. Do me a favour and this idea folk that liked Gerrard as a player will buy Rangers shirts. Laughable. Patrick Viera, manages NYC, dont see many NYC tops in North London.
