Early video this Saturday! Another good one too, a very fishy pattern I enjoy tying (although somehow it's never brought me much luck though 😞). Cheers and all the best for the new year!
Great video again Vladimir and cheers on your continued success with your YouTube channel. I think I can speak for a lot of people, that we look forward to our Saturday tying tutorials. Your way of explaining techniques is unmatched. Happy New Year to all !!!🥳🎉🎊👍
Thanks Vladimir! I wish you and yours all the best for 2023 ( still 21:00 here 😆) The Elk Hair Caddis is 'staple food' here in the Western rivers of N. America and if one can change the dubbing colour and size of the fly, one will have great success. I'm sure the fish will eat this classic fly around the World.
Happy 2023 to you, Oholi! Well done! I look forward to seeing more of you out fishing on the water. 💥💫🤟🌲
Another great pattern Vladimir…looks like a real fish catcher…thanks for sharing your tying techniques and tips as ever…Happy 2023 to you and your family

Now that you have your hand whip finish mastered, I would like you to tie a fly using the rotary feature of your vise.

Try tying a griffith’s gnat, using the rotary for the peacock herl and the grizzly hackle. You’ll be surprised how much nicer the fly turns out.

That's a wonderful caddis—perfect for anywhere and a great floater. 🙂
