Let’s be honest lads. Rey isn’t leaving. If he did and went somewhere like AEW that would essentially blackball his son from WWE (which is still the biggest company no matter what any of us think) until at least Vince steps down because of just how petty he is. He would be damaging his own sons career which no dad would do
If Vince wants to boost the ratings then instead of bringing in legends like Ric Flair in which isn't smart since older guys like Ric is really risky with what's going on atm, Vince should listen to the fans or at least to the creative team + superstars & give them what they want.
Those screwy finishes made me not want to watch Raw tonight. So, congrats Vince. You're an idiot.

Asuka dropping the belt during this "ratings panic" is NOT a sign that her push is over. They absolutely want her to be a part of the RAW Women's Championship picture and are absolutely counting on her to be a big factor in getting the ratings they're after. Right now, the story is that the heels have taken the immature route and stolen the belt from the champion when honest competition wasn't going to win Sasha the title. This is the start of a new angle that is designed to garner more attention to the storyline. I think it will work in that it will get more people interested in watching than a simple clean result would have. Angles almost always tell more complex stories than clean finishes do (even if it's an angle they've used many times before).
It seems like everyone is really worried about Asuka and her "status." Don't be. She's fine. Having the championship isn't the only sign you're being pushed. Take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Asuka is still at the top of the Women's division. Transferring or "hot-potatoing" the title is a ratings tactic, not a sign of shifting momentum or favor in the roster.
Vince cannot allow an Asian person to look strong.

There are no original ideas left. Everything is a rehash of an old idea, so it's about the execution of the rehash. Hell, even the Montreal Screwjob was a rehash. You can't fault the guy for borrowing from the most profitable time in the business, and it actually fit the program he's working right now.

WWE doing screwy cliffhanger endings to trick us into watching Raw is ridiculous. Did it work? I hope not.
AEW is doing a fantastic job building feuds and storylines that keep me interested and looking forward to each and every Dynamite… WWE has been in the business, the leader in the business for way too long to be doing lazy, half attempts to get us to watch tomorrow's show. Short term booking and last minute changes are once again making me eye roll.
