Why can’t gioachinni play the right wing. I think arriola was rushed back in and shouldn’t have started against Jamaica. I don’t want to wait to make subs on a game changer like we did for Qatar. If gioachinni doesn’t do well arriola can get subbed in with fresh legs against a tired team
Yes on Williamson and Cannon. Were gonna need full gas tanks and good defending. Yes on Zardes as well, more mobile, more pressing, they both struggle with combining with others and their first touch, but Zardes offers more energy, more channel runs. After listening to this show Dikes performance could be stained by the continual fart of this system??
First half thoughts: I feel like I'm watching a US-Mex game from the 1990s. USA with a Bunker mindset, grind out and survive, hope for a Mex mistake and counter. Our midfield erased. Attackers like Hoppe spending more time defending than attacking. Heroic goalkeeping by Turner.
If I were at this game I'd hold up my hands and do the "dos a cero" signal just to troll the mex pendejos. All night long.
