Yeah it’s pretty stupid he went skiing but if Bayern Munich let him go many top clubs would be salivating to have him. He may be 36 but he’s a keeper no pun intended.

The reason Neuer was so upset was because Nagelsmann sacked Toni behind his back, and him and the rest of the team found out about it over WhatsApp, which shows very poor communication on the coach’s part. Neuer felt so strongly because Tapalovic was a huge factor in him becoming fit, and now that he’s gone, Neuer thinks the worst: that Bayern will get rid of him too. Neuer did go on a skiing trip and it was his fault that he broke his leg, but people are acting as if he WANTED to get injured. In the interview he said that he broke down crying when he told the team about his leg. And this whole situation is made harder by the fact that Nagelsmann always preferred to speak with Kimmich instead of Neuer, which is a big slap in the face of Manu. Those who are saying “Neuer thinks he is above the club” haven’t seen the interview. Manu wasn’t criticizing the club AT ALL. He was merely giving his feelings on the matter, saying that he was frustrated that in this difficult time, during his heartbreaking injury (which he took 100% responsibility for) the manager goes behind his back and sacks his best friend and close colleague, who was also a well-respected member of the dressing room.

I could see neaur leaving in the summer now as bayern got sommer in January so he they've already got their replacement and bayern more or less as the club went behind his back. I think neaur will be fine as their will be many suitors for him to join. Quite a few clubs are looking for world class GKs and any club would take neaur despite him being 36.
