There are so many teams that will try to get him, it will be a bidding war . I think it will take more than what Seattle got for Wilson.
My thoughts are since no criminal charges are going to be charged you have to at least make an attempt. Off the field issue aside you can realistically have 10+ years of Watson has the qb and he has proven he can be a franchise qb. The biggest problem for me is the cost probably starts at 3 first picks, 2 second picks, and a combination of players. My hope is since the afc got a lot more stacked he would rather play in the nfc. I read reports that some other nfc teams that are looking to trade for him are the Seahawks (terrible o line and Russ wanted out), Saints ( In salary cap hell) and panthers (lol). Out of all those teams I feel like Bucs are the best options for him. He also holds a no trade clause that really puts pressure on the Texans to trade him to a location he wants.
They better do this. The players we have will never get to the Super Bowl any time soon. I need this to happen.

Here is an idea no one is even thinking…. What if Lovie Smith talks Watson into staying in Houston? So no trade at all will happen.
Trade Bradys Rights for 2 First Round Picks and a player. Package those Picks with our current 1st Round Pick and give Houston 3 First Rounders for Watson. Doing it that way it only costs us 1 First Round Pick.

1. I absolutely hate so called bucs fans who would rather see the bucs roll with those bums Blaine Gabbert or Crablegs Winsnone and 2. If the bucs don't get Deshaun Watson the Glazer's need to sell the franchise because again passing on Deshaun Watson is gross incompetence. The bucs need Deshaun Watson to stay relevant because without him they're going to go back to being the Succaneers that is a fact.
I’d give up a couple first and a few late rds maybe a player. No 2nd or 3rd rds though that’s Lichts bread and butter.
I kind of don’t want Watson on our team. I think he is a great player, but I don’t see us winning a Super Bowl with him. For the price we’d have to pay, I just don’t think it’s worth it. I’d rather give Trask a shot and build a strong team around him.
giving up that many draft picks for a troubled player is to much of a risk,if he screws up again the Bucs are also screwed,and with no draft capital to replace him I would say no personally.
Bucs don't need an expensive QB. They need to draft Christian Watson for there 1st round draft pick. They'd have best WR's in the league.

Trade Brady too 9ers for 2 1st rd picks and and player and use that too get Watson BUCS can also throw in a couple more draft picks and a player like oj Howard

I think the Bucs should pass on Watson completely! Go with Trask & find out exactly what you have. Use those draft picks to improve our team!

Go get him hes got nothing but potential with great coaches around him. The bucs are built to score alot of touchdowns and watson can run it and throw it both short and deep so hes a big threat with all those weapons. Let's go BUCS!!!!!!

I say take him. Ya he’s expensive and we will lose more free agents but I don’t want just 5 wins next year. Having a top qb with our elite receiver core will give us a much better shot. I just hope he isn’t suspended for too long
Why not pursue Kaepernick? He would probably sign for a deep discount to get a chance to showcase his talents and does not have 25 women suing him for sexual harassment. He has a good arm and can still move out of the pocket and run. At least invite him in for a workout to see how he looks compared to Trask if Gabbert leaves in free agency, they could use a veteran as at least a backup.
I'm just not comfortable bringing Watson to Tampa and giving up the future of Bucs. I think there are a lot of veteran quarterbacks out there to help Bucs, should Brady stay in retirement.
Other teams have more to offer in a trade but it is up to Watson for where he goes because of his no trade in his contract and just like you said in reports that Watson said he wants to be in Tampa and that’s why I think we have a chance!
