I met Johnny in Flint Michigan many years ago. He was old and pretty much broke and probably suffered mentally I'm sure, but he made you know he was the champ in his day.

Bratton was the man trained by legendary Kid Carson. Same coach who trained Eddie Perkins and Jack Johnson amongst other Champions..
