It was extremely depressing.
Most of what went wrong is Greg's fault. For example, why the hell did he not put fresh legs on the field until only 7 minutes before the game ended?? He should have had them in there around the 65th.
Don’t panic just yet , if by October things don’t change then yeah the coach may need to be sacked
I’m not making excuses for players because everyone does it in this fanbase
Bruv….help me understand…I’m just confused how this amount of talent has only gotten 2 points. It’s heartbreaking seeing all this talent go to waste.

I have pressed the panic button. Mckenney, Dest, Reyna, are all out for Honduras. GGG has called in Jackson Yueill as a replacement. All your comments are spot on. Pulisic in the post match press conference said that the team needed new ideas… not good! GGG asked if changing formations was a possibility against Honduras and took his time to answer which was interesting because he usually answers quickly. His body language was also not good. He answered that it was a possibility but it depended on how Honduras likes to line up. That is also not good! I want a coach who is going to line up his team to attack but GGG will probably concede that as well. Spot on Marv!!!
If we can’t beat ElSalvador and Canada, why do we think we belong in the World Cup? GGG has to go. Nice guy but they say nice guys finish last. He made his point to McKenney but he needs to be on the field. I do wonder if he has lost the locker room.

I’ve watched soccer long enough to know when things need to change. And I haven’t seen anything close to having an offense in the final third in all of the friendlys and competitive summer games. All individual efforts and set pieces. McBride and co. Need a solid contingency plan after Honduras even if we tie.
Marv after we scored we could have even bunkered in say like in a 4-5-1. GGG should have realized this. It was never going to be a 2-2 game or 3-2 game. One goal was enough. If you see that Canada was in a low block on D and your up a goal it would make sense to use that against them. Nothing but waiting around until the last ten minutes of the game. Guys can barely break a sweat in ten minutes. So mad😡
I’m am in full panic mode. This team looks as if it has no style of play and no identity. Where is Hoppe, where is Richards, Where is Pepi?!?!? It’s time to bench Pefok and Sargent. I hope U.S. soccer are making contact with agents of a top 5 list of coaches to replace Berhalter.
those late last minute subs by Berhalter were a bust and Lleget in the midfield slowed everything down. We need Gio Reyna in that spot.
It's much harder to play well playing for the US vs playing for Chelsea, Barca, Dortmund etc. Better service, better tactics, they play together alot. US is a mess, no structure , no real identity

They need to simplify things on offense. GB is a joke and thinks he’s some kinda tactical genius that’s going to build a system with players that barely ever play together. I really hope we lose to Honduras and Greg gets fired, I really don’t see anything changing with this guy.
Berhalter must go! Replacing McKennie with Yuell shows how clueless he is. He has so many other options to bring in, and he chose Yuell, a player proven to be a burden on the field.
Try Aaronson up front as a 9, he has played it for his club, Sargent and pfok bring nothing.

The one advantage the US has over most teams in the region is the depth. So why on earth are you not using it, and making subs, is in no way understandable. Gregg froze in the big moment.

Berhalter's "strategy" and gameplans have been a massive failure. I was very concerned once the match ended, after watching the press conference I was panicking. In the presser Berhalter said the reason he waited so long to make subs was because he didn't think anyone was playing subpar… 1) How could he not see some players weren't good enough, 2) what kind of manager publicy says if I sub you out it's because I think you were terrible? 3) we have a game 3 days later and need some rest…
It's really hard to judge if a coach has lost the locker room but John Brook's on field body language when Berhatler was talking to the team while the Canadian keeper was getting medical attention and Pulisic saying we need new ideas are clear signs that the team is at least frustrated with Berhalter and hi "tactics."
Every team is struggling with fans and travel and they play with other clubs and it will be fun game Wednesday a win puts them in the mix and good position for the October games and the us is like 4-1-2 in Honduras not bad

Personally I think the coach needs to go. They need to go back to basics , do the dirty work, push when they are down, and not to be broken when there down a goal. I think maybe a simple 442 even. Although the coach isn’t putting players in to win the game. Lack of confidence on his players. The talk about the subs aren’t good enough was horrible talk from the coach.
Subbing at 82 minutes is lunacy. Shocking!
Greg's definetly to blame for the difficulties in the attack. Even without Mckennie or Reyna, there is more than enough talent on this team to score 3+ goals against every team in concacaf. Greg's tactical system is unimaginative and one-dimensional. There are no backup plans or tactical adjustments when the first plan doesn't work. He's also had a history of poor judgement calls for game management and substitutions (that Canada match was a perfect example of that, not bringing in the subs until the last 6 or 7 minutes of the match). But arguable Greg's most crucial fault is that he clearly isn't inspiring this team to truly come together.
All that being said, I don't think 2 points in 2 matches is all bad. There are plenty more matches left to turn this around. But I don't think Berhalter is the man for the job. If we want to make a serious run THIS World Cup, he needs to either drastically change as a coach, or he needs to leave.
Greg is a second class manager. We need one from Europe or South America who understands how to win matches specially QC qualifying. First he brought wrong players like Roldan and Lletgett who could not connect the forwards and defenders. Secondly, our defenders are old and slow like how Brooks and the other one were outrun and just flat watching the opponets. Lastly, try Pepi or someone else in front but dont insist on Sargent who has not produced goals on a consistent basis.
