What I think is going to happen:
Gilmour as a no.8/ dm in double pivot
Declan Rice as a CB
Ampadu as a Dm
Declan is so overrated, did you watch Westham vs Liverpool yesterday? not worth 80million
this declan talk should stop already he ain't better than what we currently have

Ampadu deserves a chance at CDM
Rice is a NO GO.

Ethan Ampadu MUST be a real option. But Billy Gilmour needs a physical player beside him to play in midfield
Declan will surely fix the problems we have in the midfield right now but his ball circulation is not as good as his price tag.
We forget we have a great deal of talent in the team or on loan

Denis Zakaria is a good player but he suffers ACL Injury recently. I’m afraid he’s gonna be a flop. Ampadu deserved a chance. Honestly i don’t think we need rice not because he is terrible but he is overpriced and we’ve got much of a young talent on that position.
Would definitely love to see Ethan Ampadu get a chance to prove himself. I think he deserves it

Be careful of what you wish for because the grass is always greener on the other side. Kante will be hard to replace and I don’t see these folks you are mentioning performing better than him my opinion. If any of these players were in the French national football team would they start over Kante? Think about it
So sell Kante to get Rice ? This brexitfc boys are moving mad.
Rice is not better than what we has , if you watched is game in national team, he struggle due to the attacking system , he was only good in west ham defensive system, I don’t think we should waste our money on rice , there are player like Saul , Koke , savic who I think are much better than rice or we should wait till end of the season and see how is gimour and Ampudu progress
Kante is actually performing well as DM and you want to replace him?? He has a lest 4-5 years more of football.
There is another internal solution Christensen
Ampadu, Gilmour, Mount, Gallagher, Bate, RLC, Rice (yes, I count him as a future Chelsea player), so much potential with interesting players in the midfield for the next decade, yet I don't see how Chelsea would be able to keep all of them.
Zakaria is absolutely fantastic. So much better than Declan Rice, that boy is a talent.
I think both Gilmour and Ampadu are excellent and I could definitely see them fitting in well with this Chelsea side. One big positive with Rice though is that he has that personality that is so important. We've heard Frank talking about Ziyech having it. No disrespect to the aforementioned two and the rest of the squad but I don't think we've had that real strong dressing room presence since Hazard or Drogba days even. Rice is a leader and that's what he offers that Ampadu and Gilmour don't maybe? Just sayin…
Declan Rice had better been the second coming of Lampard because for me, no way you risk losing Ampadu over a buy solution man! Is Lamptey, Salah and De Bruyne not enough loses?

Chelsea look the real deal from a red.. big result for gunners today. They just need consistency. that side play good football. also I think partay is a PLAYER! really see him slotting into any side if im being honest. Liverpool had an excuse to drop points this weekend but didn't. City with a pedestrian but important win and don't look now but saints and newcastle are getting big results. Chelsea and spurs look proper title challenging sides. WHAT A YEAR! So many fun sides to watch. Even look at wolves and Leicester who are pillars of consistency. This is the best I can remember the PL being in a while!!
