I just hope we see actual strikers play the 9. Trying a false 9 with someone who doesn’t play false 9 is pointless.
Good game. Just needed a better 9 and a 10. Switch Reyna and Musah. And put Soto over Lletget and I think we would’ve done better. Still happy with the way we played. Less happy with the result

Is it me or is Greg Berhalter full of $h!t ? All the pleasantries of quality, effort and energy. He does not seem to know or understand technically why his team was so bogged down; 60% possession and how many shots on goal? Very little adjustment to his tactics either.

Berhalter is terrible. Unfortunately, I think USSF will keep him on. This team will never reach their full potential under this coach.

If you're going to do a False 9, use Reyna instead and a little further back. And if you're going to play Lletget no matter what, then put Musah out wide and have Lletget take his spot. Never put Reyna at RW; LW is fine since he's right footed, but not RW.
Got to the Dest comments. Yeah Berhalter is full of BS. Most of the good attacking opportunities came from the right with Dest. Dude was balling.
No Gio Reyna is a fireable offense.
