Benning shouldn't be fired, he has constructed a great team on paper and has done well to build the Canucks into a playoff team. The problem I see is that there is no confidence… Brock, Horvat, Elias, Quin & Miller are all capable of executing elite plays, backed up by Garland, Podkolzin, Hoglander & Ekman Larson they should be winning more games. However, the confidence just isn't there. You can tell Petterson & Boeser overthink when they are on the ice… When they find their happy place on the ice they look like superstars… maybe they need to bring in a new coach or someone who specializes in cases where plays lose confidence and need a boost in morale & chemistry.
They act like every thing is fine in Vancouver all we want is a good hockey team but Benning and ownership must be blind because they can’t see that this team is bad
Who in their right mind thought Vancouver would be good this year, they were worse than Ottawa last year and did nothing to improve the team over the summer. How's that Pettersson and Boeser contract looking…lol
when green had his contract coming to a end last year i bet aqualiini didnt want to re sign him but bennning vouched for him and they signed him. now aquallini is like i told you jb and now you have to keep him. i let it go with tortz on the 4 year contract so now you can wallow in it. i just cant imagine why they would keep green this long.
I have never yelled at my tv so much. Seems like a couple players are trying to play themselves off the team. Yeah, that was one of the ugliest games I've seen. Think my blood pressure got up over 220. Few guys on the team are just momentum killers. Dysfunction at the junction. All I can say for sure now is that something broke. My Captain Obvious moment.
This is 100% OWNERSHIPS FAULT. I hope nobody buys Canucks Merch for Christmas this year. Maybe that will send a message, because Aquaman won't listen to the fanbase.
All for firing JB for loads of reasons BUT I feel like this team he assembled on paper makes some sense and should be playing a whole lot better, so firing JB isn't a fix all, this group should be better

Who knows this goof of a head coach would rather have Chiasson & Dowling, over MacEwen and Lockwood. We have all the freaking talent in the world and we end up 6-12-2. If Green gets fired that would be the best Canucks news I’ve heard all season, and it’s only been 20 games 💀
This team has no urgency or consistency in their game.. And that comes down to the coaching staff and Coach .. Jim Benning trading away the teams forcheckers was crazy ..To get Phoenix Coyotes defenseman and yet another over paid player getting older ..This team was supposed to get into the playoffs ..I for one cant see that happening ..And they will get better in the later part of the season and screw themselves out of a good draft pick…We all have seen that over the last 8 seasons
