      Hypothetically, with the Devils selecting Cooley he would have to play winger. His talents may be too good to overlook. I am pretty sure he would have no issues playing where needed. I know he's also really well adept at playing both on the PK and Powerplay. This offense is built for speed so I could see him jumping right into Lindy's system.

      cooley is so over rated, he's a good player for sure, a first round player for sure, but the hype around him at the moment is way over the top

      Wings: Kemel: Finnish RW–uh, no.Wings need a goal scoring Center more than anything else. We have enough Swedes, Czechs, wingers in the system. We do not have a N American stud center. Get us an American or Canadian over 6 feet who can put the puck in the net with regularity and has some grit to his game.

      Canucks can get a pretty good player at #15. If Nazar or Howard are available for the Canucks they will take either.

      NJ goes Slafkovsky or Jiricek
      Ottawa Lekkerimaki would be good. Lambert, Savoie and Kemmel would all be good options to play w Stutzle in the future.
      Kemmel is not going to Detroit
      Lekkerimaki is the only winger I see going here. Otherwise Savoie, Nazar or Snuggerued
      San Jose could get Lekkirimaki or Ohgren or Mintyukov
      Lambert to the Islanders is a good story w Raty there and uncle Lane.
      Gauthier, Geekie or Korchinski are possible for Winnipeg
      Vancouver Kasper doesnt make sense to me. Mintyukov, Ohgren, Ostlund make more sense. I'd love to see them take Miroshnichenko too.

      I don't like the wings pick but I am really don't knew who they should pick we need Center help in are system

      Thanks for posting this, Lego. Cannot say I am too familiar with too many of these players, but as always, draft day would be interesting with trades, surprise picks, players dropping down the draft board, etc… I just hope the Canucks will be able to do something right, not just in the first round, but throughout the draft in discovering a few diamonds in the rough too…

      Is it just me or does it feel like the Canucks will have to move up or down in this draft if they're to exact the type of value they're interested in? The guys in the 15 range seem to have question marks in their skating; short of someone like Lambert slipping all the way to 15, the Canucks are going to have to trade up for a Nemec/Jiricek, or down for an additional pick.

      savoie is gonna be a steal, GM's need to stop choosing with height. One of the biggest offensive threat in the draft, mark my words, he's gonna be calder finalist in his rookie year

      I pray Savoie goes to Detroit… He's such a beast, I've been watching his play for the past couple years. And when this draft is all said and done, he may just become one of if not the best forward in this draft class.

      mintyukov goes to isles at 13. kenny morrow has gotten a good look at him. Unless lou trades the pick for scoring help which is very possible.

      You haven’t watch single finnish Liiga game if you think that Lambert is top 5 talent. I think he can drop a lot in draft day.

      You broke my heart at 9 after the 7 and 8 picks happened. I can’t see them picking a left defender at 16. I’d definitely go in a different direction.

      Slafkovsky will be a steal in this draft, he already plays with adult men in the top Finnish league, was MVP on winter olympics and the best most productive player for Slovakia on WC 2022. He is already a complete and ready player for NHL and everywhere he goes to, he is a few levels above everyone else. Wright is a big trap in this draft who I would place 3rd behind Cooley.
