I would say that, as long as the loss is a learning experience, rather than a sign of rot, like the 4-0 loss to Spain in 2011, then I’ll take it as a fan. I would consider bringing Pulisic in as a sub against Honduras in case he needs time to acclimatize to the high altitude, but Berhalter is there and I’m not, and I’ll trust his judgment.

This coach comes in with only plan A , for 3 years he fails to make in game adjustments at the half, accommodate mls players by putting our European talents out of position and makes questionable subs. We have all these talents and shit coach to guide them. We are a good enough team, and samplingmaster before u start with defending your beloved coach, give me any positives the coach did in this game?

I think US will be a heart attack kind of team until we can defend well as a team. I just want the US to be a team that is absolutely no fun to play against. It is the only way I see the US making progress on the world stage. It doesn't give me confidence when Berhalter notes the effective change the Swiss made in the second half and he just just says that we didn't adjust well. It makes me feel that he has a hard time being prepared for tactical changes that address his pressing strategy, … or that he is flexible enough to make the right adjustment with his team. I'd feel a lot better if the US was to be more sound defensively and if they would work on counter-attacking, turning the tables on other teams. This game was boring to watch, but I was only able to watch the second half – maybe it looked a little better for us in the beginning. But, the important thing is how you end up on the scoreboard at the end of the game. In the second half, it looked like the Swiss were sitting back comfortably, spread out across the field, winning the ball back fairly easily and playing comfortably. To be fair, … I wasn't impressed with either team. The second Swiss goal was caused by Dest making a reflexive play for the ball close in the goal, a gamble and mistouch which led to a pass to a Swiss attacker. Goof ball goals, … all of them – stupid crap by both sides. I just wasn't impressed with how we looked and moved. And, as usual, … I wish the Berhalter had more passion showing when he talks. He may just be too cerebral for this team – perhaps unable to get the "psychology" right to create a team, and a team spirit, that would nearly always find a way to win. I'm not very patient at this time in the national team's development – it's been quite a while since we hit the doldrums of the last World Cup qualifying that left us out of the World Cup. That was a travesty for US soccer and we are approaching the next cycle. I know that we have more talent now and I want to see some consistent success.

Berhalter doesn't know how to make the right adjustments when they're getting out played. They should just do a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2. I prefer a 3-5-2 though since there is no proven ST might as well put 2 up top i stead of having one do hold up play all the time.

This coach sucks and has to quit. I don't like him as a coach. The midfield sucks too. No midfield no match. No Bradley no midfiled. The US team needs to improve in midfield.
