this is really cool! problem i'm having is i gotta popup saying file not found: Solver32.dll! what does that mean?
Im putting in the constraint for salary but in Simplex LP anything under the maximum number of pts possible with the position constraints returns an error that the solver can not satisfy all constraints. Any ideas?

this is awesome… but the whole thing that counts is the projections and I find that most online sources are crap. So I do my own, might try to post my spreadsheet I've come up with on here.. not real good at making these videos though. I have an NBA projections formula sheet for fanduel only as of now

Excel by Joe, I've used this twice and it works really well. My only problem is I can't get it to do smallest to largest for some reason. When I click on it it just flashes, but remains the same. Is there something I need to turn off or on in order for it to work?

Hi Joe, we created the spreadsheet together and it worked great, thank you, the only problem we are having is with the solver. I was able to install it but it does not give me the option for "Simplex LP". How can I fix this?

This is a great video, but I have a question. How can you add the ability to include players? To exclude them I just change their position to E, and it doesn't consider them, but I can't figure out an easy way to do that for players I want to include. Any help for me?
Ok.. I am pretty decent with excel but this is where I have to stop.. I am in one of those states that doesn't let you play Fand duals or draft kings.. etc. so I am stuck with just playing std Yahoo fantasy. How do I adapt this model to run a line up builder every work?.
Two Part question… 1st how would you build this to set a flex position? 2nd if your not playing Draft KIngs, Daily Fantasy or Fan Duels how would you build this to go by projected and stats to find optimal line ups every week? Or would it be best to use Yahoo Daily Fantasy to guide lineups for standard leagues.

Might I also suggest going to Solver Options and setting the Integer Optimality to 0 (zero). I think you often find that this produces a "more optimal" result.

When I run Solver, "Solver could not find a feasible solution" I am sure it is an error in formula but can someone suggest a starting point to correct this??

Great video Joe, i got a solution. However, my version of excel doesnt have the "solving method to simplex LP". I do go into options but its not there either. Under options it does have iterations, ive checked "assume linear model". When it runs it gives me a 1 in some ranks but also a weird 4.72342023013752E-17 and other weird numbers. Can you help?
